These series of conversations are an effort to align how we understand neurodivergent development with what we are seeing are important needs of the autistic community in particular, and neurodivergent community in general. Dr. Breinbauer leads these conversations, aligning them with the direction in which neuroscience research is evolving, using elements and definitions offered by the RDoC matrix and researchers making relevant contributions in the last 5 years. For each webinar Dr. Breinbauer invites a a neurodivergent person doing research , education, and/or clinical work to better support neurodivergent development and wellbeing.

This webinar is recommended for anyone who has taken any course on Floortime and wants to explore a different way to understand the "Funcional Emotional Developmental Capacities" described by Dr. Stanley Greenspan more than 30 years ago. ​
Dr. Breinbauer reviewed how the 9 FEDCs can be reimagined, in an effort to align them with what we are seeing, are important needs of the autistic community. Dr. Breinbauer also anchored her proposal, aligning it with the direction of how neuroscience research is evolving, using elements and definitions offered by the RDoC matrix. ​
